Each year we have a theme. Some of the themes so far have been as follows:
2006 – Music
2007 – CLANE - OUR GREEN VILLAGE
2008 - CLANE - WORKING TOGETHER
2009 – THE LAND OF MYTHS AND LEGENDS
2010 – THE SOUND OF MUSIC
2011 – OUR PAST, OUR PRESENT AND OUR FUTURE
In 2007 to coincide with the launch of the Book “Clane, The Village We Knew” written by Bryan Sammon, Liam Burke and Paddy Behan, we had a special Float in the Parade re-living this era.
In 2008, the floats were so entertaining with colour, music, drama etc. that it took a full hour to come down the main street.
